The location was amazing and perfect, so close to many eateries and shops, and train station and all major. The queen room was new-fashioned with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, AC...

All in all everything was very good, had a fine stay for 3 nights in May. The hotel's position was amazing, near the station. What's more, it was short walk to many eateries and shops, the main attractions and the historic centre of Firenze. All of the staff members were exceptionally nice and accommodating.

We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a stylish queen room that had a lot of character.

The owners/staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and simply decorated. The air conditioner was a treat after walking under the hot sun all day. It is close to the train station but away from the bustle of major tourist areas. We would definitely stay again!
Bathroom is a bit small. Very clean, though.

The location was great, just a short walk away from the train station and around 20 minutes from the main attractions. The hosts were friendly and had good communication, making us feel welcome. The room itself was comfortable, with a quiet AC and blackout shutters. The breakfast provided was tasty and there was a nice space to sit. We also appreciated the helpful recommendations from the hosts for places to visit.

Location was very good, close to city center, only 15 min walk. Stuff was very friendly, breakfast nice. Room is modern and clean, everything new. Wi-fi was ok. So it worths money spent 100%.
We stayed in room 1 and at night we heard people coming with there luggage, so it was noisy sometimes.

A little bit far away from the place of interest, but near the train station. Staff is nice though their English is not always good enough.
The elevator didn't work when we arrive, and the toilet is too small...

Great amenities and location the complementary breakfast and coffee were a great way to start the day. Its central location made it easy to explore the nearby city attractions. Plus, the comfortable beds offered a good night's sleep.
Noisy and old bathroom. the thin walls didn't provide any noise isolation, so we heard doors slamming every time.

My booking has been changed to another hotel in Florence named Relais Modern by b&b due to its some internal issues. So my review is all based on the hotel that I actually stayed in. I love Relais Modern, the staff, the facility are all good. The staff is very, very warm and the room is clean and quite new. The breakfast is very good, too.
Really cannot think of anything that I didnt like for Relais Modern. But for b&b Giglio Rosso, well, I don't like being changed to other hotels when I have settled everything and being informed during the journey (I mean, what if I was unable to access my email during the journey?)

The b&b is recently decorated, and felt at home as most of the items were from ikea! The staff are really friendly, and although they are not there 24 hours, they left a no to call if necessary (we did not need to call them). Breakfast is really yummy, and they have a great coffee machine to give you fresh coffee in the morning.
There was no airconditioning, which meant as it was 32 degrees celsius we found it a bit hot. There is a noisy road outside, so you can't leave the window open during the night. (Although with the window closed this is not an issue as you can't hear the traffic then.) There is a really small shower in the bathroom, and it is tricky to get in an out of it (and I am not very big!). There is definitely room for a larger shower in the bathroom.
